My bluetooth adapter is an Asus BT-400 but apparently you can use any bluetooth adapter that you want. I hope that can help someone out! It works really great once you have it set up. I tried Split Second and Lego Star Wars 3.īoth of the controllers are emulating Xbox 360 controllers so they should work in any game you want and your system will think you have Xbox 360 controllers. If its not genuine then both the toolkit and Windows 10 will say so. Even Windows 10 will dectect it as an offical PlayStation 3 controller without this toolkit. I tried it in a couple of games and everything worked perfectly with no configuration necessary at all. If SCP Toolkit detects this as an official controller then no need to open it up as this tool kit is for using genuine DS3 and DS4 controllers either by BT or wired connection on PC. I opened up the SCP monitor and sure enough, it paired up as controller #2! I let it charge up a bit and then it paired up via bluetooth as well. All I did was pair up my old one first, then I connected the new one to the computer via USB. I bought a new Dualshock 3 controller today for $30 at a clearance outlet. It appears that this will work with up to 4 controllers. What I just discovered today is that this works with multiple controllers. When you are done it should work perfectly via bluetooth! I also had to follow this guide to get my bluetooth drivers working properly for it:īasically you just connect the Dualshock 3 controller to your PC via USB, install the Xbox 360 controller drivers, then follow the guide. Here is a video guide of how to set it up: For the past while I have been using an old Dualshock 3 controller with my PC using a program called SCP DS3.
